This particular bird is the "Pennsylvania Guardian" and apparently has been assigned to the "bone-yard" and now probably only remains in the memories of these Air Force Veterans who worked with this bird. To them and to all of us Veterans this model is dedicated. Please assemble it from front to rear allowing a clean glue at each section before inserting the appropriate bulkhead just aft of each glue line. This gives a clean line front front to rear...learned from many 'rebuilds" due to rushing the assembly!

This section sould be reinforced on the bottom to give it strength to maintain its more-or-less "flat" line on the bottom. This is completed in 3 steps. First glue the wingrootcover along the centerline on the bottom of the fuselage. When this glue has firmly set, then glue the top section on the port and starboard sides. Once this glue has firmly set then glue the anterior and posterior parts on each side. This is a difficult step, and may need "redoes" to get it right...be patient. When you complete this section of the build the lines of the beautiful airframe become visible! A cool step to complete...and time for a breather!!!

The placement of the spar/airfoil sectons is critical to proper line up of the wings with the wingroot box! Make sure that the airfoil section just adjacent to the fuselage is glued as well forward to the front of the wing as possible to get the proper line with the mainwing spar holes.
